Invitation by USAID to contribute to a survey on involving families in nutrition, March 2021

USAID Advancing Nutrition is the flagship nutrition project of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). It seeks to understand experiences from nutrition programs around the world that engage family members, such as grandmothers and fathers.

You are invited to complete a survey about your work with families.

The project has already reviewed literature and has organised a webinar. The goal is to understand and document diverse experiences of programs that are not fully captured in the published literature. Survey results will be summarized and published, with the aim of highlighting lessons learned and recommendations for other practitioners. This survey will also help to identify interest in a virtual Community of Practice.

We invite you to share your experiences designing, implementing, or evaluating nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions/activities that involve any members of the family system. Please access the survey here.

The survey should take around 15-20 minutes, and you will have the option to save your responses and return later. All responses are requested by April 1, 2021. We look forward to hearing about your experiences.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Kate Litvin, Technical Specialist on Nutrition and Gender, USAID Advancing Nutrition, at
